Well, as for me... depends on which kind of world domination we're talking about here... yes there are more kinds >_<;;
You've got the Hitler way of doing it, with all the murders and violence. In that case, no thank you.
And then you've got the way in which you become a powerful politican the nice way, like for exaple Obama did... also no thank you in that case. Way to much responsibility and I'm not into politics...
And then there's another way, namely, becoming very famous and controling people like that. For example, JK Rowling rules the world in a kind of way, right? Cause there's almost no person who hasn't heard of Harry Potter... And as a celebrity you can often get things from people who wouldn't help you with it if you were someone else (oh, how shallow this world is) there is of course a dark side with all the gossip and stuff, but people like writers have less to fear from the media than actors and such...
But yeah... in that last way, it would be nice to rule the world ^_^

That's also possible of course. But only if you can get enough people to believe you and follow you. But if you can manage that, it'll be an effective way to take over the world.
