APH: history was never this fun!

I say one word: PASTA!

well I'm talking here about the anime: Axis Powers of Hetalia
Hetalia comes from the word: hetare (useless) and italia from italy.




it is about countries personified into human characters. It's about the bounds and wars between countries.
The main characters, the axis powers are: Italy, a weak, engergetic, cute guy, who says pasta a lot and his weapons are white flags. Germany, a big serious hardworking leader and the most mature one of all if you ask me. Japan, isolated personality but a nice and hard working person.

The alied forces: America, an idiot, who eats a lot of hamburgers and his plans are "to be the hero" . England, a gentleman, but bad at cooking and has huge eyebrows. He has a few imaginary things but those are just way too cute.
France, in short a mollesting, creep, pervert etc. He's great!
Russia, a nice person but on the inside he's a creepy guy and want bad things to happen to everyone.
China, a kind, helping person, who wants everyone to get along.

So anyone likes it too? what are you favourite characters? mines are England, France, Russia and America. France and Russia because their like that (I have a weak spot for creeps xD lol). And England and america after reading the chapter about the independence war, it was soo sad.

PASTAAA!! xD I've only seen the first 4 episodes :P but I already love it. Though I don't have a favorite character yet... I'll have to watch a little further before I'll decide on that :P... how many episodes are there by the way?
Oh, and I read in your signature on the aniway forum that you're going to cosplay France.. I though you we're going to do Russia? Changed your mind?

@Free there are nog 16 episodes but there'll be 26
and yes I kinda changed my mind, but it's not sure if I will cosplay france, I want to but can't find a right costume. I'm doubting between france, russia and the uk.

she has been like this for a while now ... i like the idea of playing america ... not the idea of living life as a human porqupine with flags instead of needles... and u promised not to harm me with those flags!

I knew it! japan, was kinda unexpected though.
btw hetalia 17 is out...now waiting for the subs! England and america, sigh the war is soo sooo sad *cries*
Oh and Good news for all the hetalia lovers: There'll be another season! So 52 episodes in total!

ps i like japan just for the fact that he is japan ... he also has a katana which is nice ...

only because he's japan? okay... well I look at their personalities, that explains my favourite characters, or not heheh....

france... and well japan's personality is kinda nice and makes the show a bit balanced... so far he is the only one on who germany can rely on...

yeah true, japan and germany are actually the normal ones. Though china is pretty nice too. he's very kind, too bad a certain japan abuses it sort of. he's not really thankful.

China is a guy, I think... though many people cosplay him as a girl and stuff. by the way I wonder, is canada a girl or a boy?

no there aren't all guys, belgium is a girl, liechtenstein, hongray, lutuvia and some more which I can't remember. but most are guys yeah. It's a bit of an shounen-ai, with all the merriages and stuff. hahah I loved the part with france trying to marry england

yeah poor england. but still that scene was priceless. Still like england, he's cuuuute and soo sad he lost america sort of, with the war and all.
hum...I wonder what'll happen next, I hope they'll put in some extra stories.

lol, I love it :P it's really funny to see the countries interact like that... and I keep remembering things from history class that I thought I'd never think about again ... :P like the flashy uniform of France xD
