Get more memebers!!

Hey guys! Just some random post but.. any ideas on how to make people active on here? We gotta get lots of people to sign up here to make this place more alive!! as of yet I see my name poping up everywhere!! o.O LOL XD

Any idea how to drag a lot of people in here?

need some kinda advertising.. I mean.. we need to get people in here that arent are friends already right? XD Otherwise we'll never meet new people o.O

Actually, I told you my idea. We have a magazine here (which is like the one from Germany), Popcorn and there are many teenagers who make advertisment at their forums.
So i was thinking that maybe it would be good, at least we would have more members. They will be romanian, though, but at least there would be someoen romanian here except me. XD

I could ask at a couple of sites im on to see if there are ppl interested

and basically i could get some of my friends on this and get them to commercialise it mouth-to-mouth but i doubt u want that as soem creepy guys will turn up then

@gummy: the popcorn, isn't that kind of international? I mean, you can buy it here too. So not only romanian people would pop up. But I think it's a good idea.

I can place the site in my signature on some forums. People always get curious then and click...at least that's how it's supposed to be.

Ok so...how are we going to do? First i have to solve the problem with the background which really doesn't want to change.
Then, i want foreign people, not only form romania and holland. i want people form the whole world, but of course, not now.
Anyway...so are we going to put it at our signatures? the popcorn choice is good?

This background is blue as you can see and i am trying to change it, but it doesn't wanna change! I have already chosen the bakground and put it there, but it won't change! I dunno why it doesn't work, cause it's in the right place and it is starting to get on my nerves, really!

well in my experiences of makign a forum i never had such difficulties so i cannot quite help u =/ maybe try to re-do everything ? do save all teh things though just in case

The admin from another forum told me that it's normal and the forum will do these kinds of things at first. she said her forum did them too, but then it cooperated. But she said it will be okay in 2-3 days, but there passed more.

sounds like weird nonesence to me...

also mathi-chan is going to give bags at the chibicon i guess we could put a card with the link in it but that would mean that only more dutch will come to the forum... also i have not asked mathi-chan if she is ok with this ...

Oh well it doesn't matter if more dutch will come as long as we'll have members.

she is going as tamaki-senpai (cosplay to be clear) a host and he gives women gifts and such so she is going to hand out bags with candy i think it was

Hmm.. I think all the ideas are good actually ^^ Anything we do would help right?? ^^ I'm still thinking of a way myself.. but to be honest.. I dont have one damn clue!!

So appearantly options are:
- mathi puts sites in candybags XD
- Popcorn magazine
- putting it in sig on other sites
- talking to strangers

Hmm.. it doesnt sound all too effective yet.. but I guess everything could help ^^
