Marble scribbles on the wall

Ever got angry with msn? yahoo? Yeah..technology in general just pissin' me off today. Soooo, I just started writing. lol Enjoy.



With every symbol we make, we come closer together
yet with every side of a coin, there is always another
A hidden side, unknown, unshown dark and turned away

With every symbol we type, we lose ourselves
What once was sound and soul becomes nothing but words
Numbers spread across the screen, confusing us,
Misleading and demeaning us

With every symbol we like, we try our best to show we care
With hearts and hugs and things of love
We prop ourselves up above the masses
Because we're better, because we love, because we know and care..

With every symbol they make, we can only show so much..
When they slow us, when they stop us, it all falls apart
It looks like they don't want us to be
Keeping us at arms' length from each other, but still miles away

..I say we kill it
I say we run and hide
let's murder the machine
And never say die

When technology fails we will have each other
When we unplug the wires we think for ourselves
Crashing around us, the errors collide
We're being disconnected, we're being crucified

Well fuck the firewalls and kick over the trojan horses
Who needs them anyway? I say leave the chair, leave the screen

I LOVE it!! X3 seriously!! you're damn good!! for it just being something you blurred out! damn.. I'd have to THINK over something like this for AGES!!!
The cool thing is I understand every little bit of it XD Damn, when I read this, I see an entire story in front of me.. "fuck the firewalls and kick over the trojan horses" lol XD I love it!! where did you come up with such things?? XD

Well...that's the thing with me.. I store up ideas and thoughts for a while and then one day its like "DO IT NOW!!"

And I have to sit there, furiously writing or typing, praying I can read it after because of my dyslexia, and hopefully it makes sense somehow. I had to re-read it a couple of times to make sure I understood it before I put it on here.

And I think loads of people can relate to this..really..I mean how many times has the internet or the computers utterly ruined the mood between people anyway?! It's criminal!

@marble: funny that symbols arent really helping us :P it's pretty good, above the average poems I've read but it also makes me depressed, why did I buy a laptop, I don't need to rely on it so much
